With antioxidant rich beetroot juice, cleansing lemon juice, healthy fats from olive oil to help with nutrient absorption and soda water for hydration, this dreamy mocktail supports the body’s detoxification processes and is perfect to kick off Dry January! Created by The Mindful Mocktail and Dr. Brooke Scheller.

Ingredients:

  • 3oz (90 ml) beet juice
  • 1oz (30 ml) lemon juice
  • 6 basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup soda water


Directions:

Add beetroot juice, lemon juice, basil leaves, maple syrup and olive oil to a shaker with some ice. Shake to combine, then strain over ice into a wine glass. Top with soda, stir gently and garnish if you wish.
