Emerson St. provides a supportive community for teens and young adults, ages 15 – 26, seeking connection and belonging. This inclusive, welcoming place offers a variety of activities and services that support young people in enhancing their mental health and overall well-being.

How to Get Involved

Join Us

Come join us for groups that support your well-being. All groups are free and open to youth ages 15-26. Some groups require RSVP in advance. Please check out our monthly calendar to learn more.

Groups & Outings

Check out this month’s free groups and outings offered by Emerson St. by viewing our monthly calendar online. You can also pick up a printed monthly calendar in person at Emerson St. Please call our main line for any last-minute class confirmations or cancellations. Our groups and outings are free and open to youth between the ages of 15-26; some groups require an RSVP in advance. We offer a diverse array of wellness groups and sober activities including:

Prevention Groups and Outings

These groups are free and open to youth ages 15-26, whether or not they are seeing a therapist or case manager at WellPower. Our prevention groups are focused on socializing with peers, exploring new hobbies and getting out into the community for activities and adventure.

Therapy Groups and Outings

These groups are free and available to youth who are seeing a therapist or case manager at WellPower and are focused on therapeutic content and processes. Please reference the calendar for more information on how to sign up and to connect with facilitators.

Therapeutic Services

Emerson St. is a combined clinical and psychiatric rehabilitation program, and we offer a wide range of services for youth enrolled in our Therapeutic Services. If you or someone you know would like get enrolled in our therapeutic services, call our Access Team to schedule an an initial appointment at (303) 504-7900 and ask to be scheduled at Emerson St. Our approach to mental health treatment is collaborative and takes the whole person into account. The following services are offered to those enrolled at Emerson St.

Individual & Group Therapy

We offer individual, family, and group therapy at Emerson St., as well as treatment for substance use. Psychiatry is also available. Interested? We make it easy:

Individual Placement and Support for Youth

  • Education specialists support academic success in high school, college and other educational programs. We offer help with a variety of academic pursuits including: high school equivalency testing (GED/HiSET/TASC), college search/tours/applications/financial aid, academic accommodations and exploration of career/educational interests.

  • Employment specialists assist individuals with employment-related goals. They offer resume-building, cover letter writing, interviewing skills, job searching and speaking with employers, and follow-along job support. Our employment specialists assist youth in finding a job that is the best for the individual’s skills, goals and interests.

Phoenix Program for First Episode Psychosis

The Phoenix Program at Emerson St. for Teens and Young Adults is dedicated to serving youth in the Denver area ages 15 to 26 who are experiencing first or early episode psychosis. The Phoenix Program was established at Emerson St. for Teens and Young Adults because typical onset of psychosis symptoms is in the late teens/early 20s.
