Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Samuel R. Mitchell, Jr. serves as WellPower’s vice president and COO, bringing more than 20 years of experience in healthcare administration, operational leadership and organizational transformation from nationally recognized organizations. At WellPower, he oversees daily operations, drives strategic initiatives and leads efforts to maximize efficiency and effectiveness for the communities we serve.

Jody Ryan, MD, FRCPSC, ASAM-Certified
Vice President & Chief Medical Officer
As vice president & chief medical officer, Dr. Jody Ryan oversees medical providers, including nursing and pharmacy and continues to have clinical time, seeing patients, as well as serving on the organization’s executive management team.
Dawn Davenport, PhD
Vice President & Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Dawn Davenport is the Chief Clinical Officer at WellPower, bringing deep expertise in behavioral health, clinical supervision, strategic planning, systems evaluation and culturally responsive care. Over her 23‑year tenure, she has served as psychologist, program manager, clinical director and Vice President of Child and Family Services.

Vice President & Chief Information Officer
Dr. Wes Williams is vice president and chief information officer at WellPower, Denver’s community mental health center. As WellPower’s CIO, Wes oversees IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, business intelligence, and evaluation and research for the organization.
Wes has been repeatedly recognized for excellence in technology leadership: a 2020 Denver Business Journal C-Suite Award, the 2020 Colorado CIO of the Year Corporate ORBIE, and finalist for the Colorado Technology Association’s 2023 APEX Award for CIO of the Year.

With over 15 years’ experience in nonprofit leadership focused on impact and engagement, Lakeysha has worked with organizations to drive sustainable change for progress and innovation. As vice president of Impact & Engagement at WellPower, Lakeysha manages a robust team that empowers staff through employee engagement, language services, community work, public policy, training and staff development.

Vice President, People Operations
Savannah leads people leadership strategies and talent development initiatives to foster high-performing, adaptable and collaborative organizational cultures.
Sharon Andrew
Vice President, Financial Operations
With more than 25 years of healthcare finance experience, including accounting management; mergers and acquisitions; and private equity, Sharon uses a mission-driven approach to ensure that WellPower’s complex financial systems are working as effectively and efficiently as possible. As vice president of financial operations, she currently oversees revenue-cycle management, representative payeeship, payroll and accounting.

Kate leads branding, communications and government relations strategies to elevate WellPower’s mission, visibility and overall impact.
