WellPower's Child & Family Services assists children and their families by supporting their overall health and well-being. We offer classes, groups and events that support healthy living and opportunities to learn how to raise happy and healthy children as they grow. We also have specific supports for parents raising foster children and grandparents raising grandchildren.

Cafecito

For Spanish-speaking people we serve and community members. This is an informal social group whose mission is to be a resource for the community and break the social, family and mental health stigmas and cycles that limit what we can achieve

PLAY Program: Circle of Security CLASSROOM (for ECE staff)

Circle of Security Classroom (COSC) is an 8-week reflection course for early childhood staff caring for young children under age six. COSC gives educators opportunities to reflect on their experiences with children in ECE in a small group setting, explore children’s emotional needs, and learn key concepts that will strengthen adult-child relationships. Groups consist of eight weekly 1.5-hour sessions via Zoom.

Senior Tea Time Social Hour

A special monthly event just for our senior community members. We get together on the last Tuesday of every month to have tea, enjoy light snacks, listen to music, engage in rich conversation and learn about upcoming events within the community. Optional: You are welcome and encouraged to wear your favorite nice clothing and fanciest hats. This group is open to older adults, ages 55+.

Spanish Adult DBT Group

A group for Spanish-speaking adults who are enrolled in WellPower services. Class focused on improving skills to regulate emotions, tolerate emotional distress, achieve personal goals, and more. Various start dates during the year; a class lasts 6 months and to graduate you must attend two classes. To enroll in the group, you must have a referral from a clinician and be a Spanish-speaking adult.

Voz y Corazon Art Groups

Voz y Corazon is a weekly FREE Art Group where you can learn from a professional artist and mentor about how to express yourself through art, make friends and develop strong self-esteem. No art skills needed. Please see details for age restrictions by location.
